  7. My pastor at the time sent me a card with Romans 8:28 written in it after finding out that I was pregnant. It has became one of my favorite verses, and God really has worked it all out for the good. Joshua loves church and Jesus!

  10. One of my favorites is Luke 11:9-13. Verse 13 says, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"

  14. While this verse is not specifically about God's character, I think it does tell us something about God in what He is saying He wants for us -- He wants us to include our intellect (mind) in our relationship with Him and our pursuit of Him. So, if He wants this from us, it means he, also, is "intellectual" in nature.

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will."

  15. Jeremiah 29:11-13
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

    He is forgiving and faithful!
